Labor Day weekend -- carnival rides and tripe soup

It's cooling off around here, which is welcome. But there's no surer sign of fall than the small-town festival season. It starts today in Wapato and Prosser, with carnival rides set up in Wapato's Lions Park for the Harvest Festival and in Prosser's City Park for State's Day.

Four-day carnival begins Friday in Boonton

BOONTON -- Boonton Fire Department's annual carnival will be held Sept. 3 through 6 at Boonton High School with live entertainment each day. Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. on Sept. 3, when there will be pay-one-price wristbands for sale for the rides.

County Fair Runs Through Saturday

Carnival rides along the midway and exhibits galore are currently occupying the Moore County Fairgrounds outside of Carthage

Majestic Midways carnival's coming to town

The Broomall Fire Company is sponsoring the Majestic Midways Carnival on Sept. 9 through Sept. 12. The event will be held at Malin Road and West Chester Pike in Broomall (across from the Broomall Fire Company).
